例えば非難を浴びる事もあれば失笑される事もあるでしょう。そうした心理的もしくは場合によっては身体的な苦痛を避けようとする為に緊張という状態を生み出すのです。このように書くと余計悩んでしまうかもしれませんが安心してください。コツがあります。
考えてみてください。スピーチをして非難や失笑を受けたのならば相手がスピーチをちゃんと聞いていて反応を示している証拠です。しかもそのような反応を受けるスピーチはもっと大きなステージのスピーチです。
緊張するのは当然ですので緊張に抵抗せずに挑みましょう。大抵はまあまあよかったねと言ってくれますよ。
一つの事に集中しましょう
スピーチでさまになっているように見せるコツとして重要なのが一つの事に集中する事です。いろんな事を考えてしまうと聞いている方もいろんな事が気になってしまいます。
例えば一番遠くにいる人に聞こえる声量で話すことや誰か一人に話しかけることだけを考えてもいいですね。最後におめでとうやありがとう等の一言を付けることだけを考えてもいいです。
スピーチですので相手に向かって話すという行為ですから相手に伝えるためにあなたが一番重要だと思う事を一つだけ決めてください。それがコツです。
そしてスピーチの時はその事だけに集中してください。終わった後に自分が決めたことができたかどうかだけを気にするようにしましょう。きっとそれがその時に行うスピーチの最大のポイントになっていたはずです。
お決まりのポーズを考えましょう
スピーチを頼まれる人はおそらくその後も沢山のスピーチの機会に遭遇すると思います。そんな時にお勧めのコツは是非あなたのお決まりのポーズを作っておいてください。
これには緊張をほぐす効果や大事な一言を発する自分への暗示という効果もあります。決めておくと聞いている人が何回もあなたのスピーチを聞く人だったとしたらもっと効果があるのです。
大事なことを言う時や話すときには必ずこんなポーズをするという事が定着すると自分にとっても相手にとってもある種の安心暗示として成り立つ事があります。するとスピーチの場が非常に和みます。
よく欧米の方は胸の前辺りで両手を握手のように組む方がいます。日本の小泉純一郎元首相は人差し指を前方に突出す動作が有名でしたね。私の知合いでは両手をズボンの後ろポケットに入れるという方もいました。あなたが一番やりやすいお決まりポーズを考えてみてくださいね。
やっぱり練習が大切です
スピーチのコツはいろいろありますがやっぱり練習量がものを言います。もちろん考えた内容の反復練習も大切です。しかしここで練習したいのは鏡の前で身振り手振りと顔の表情の練習です。
お決まりのポーズを綺麗に見せる練習や言葉に詰まった時に笑顔を作る練習がいいですね。特に言葉に詰まった時に見せる笑顔は聞き手が見ると落ち着いて間を取っているように見えます。さまになっているように見せるコツの一つです。
少し具体的な事を言いますね。笑顔は歯を見せずに口角を少し上げる練習をしてください。できれば口角を上げて頬骨辺りがふっくらするといいです。この表情は相手に安心感を与える効果があると言われています。これは普段も使えます。余裕のある大人なイメージ作りの練習もコツの一つです。
一言で終わらせてしまう
スピーチをうまくやりすごすコツでもう一つ意識してほしい事はスピーチを一言で終わらせる事です。もちろん本当に一言で終わらせるわけではありません。
スピーチは緊張します。場の空気もあります。誰が聞いているかも分かりません。ですから一言だけ言いたい事を決めておいてください。その一言だけ言えたならば満足してください。
スピーチの最初を「今日はこれだけが言いたいです。○○です。」から始めることもできます。スピーチの最後に「最後にこれだけ言わせてください。○○です。」で締めることもできます。途中のお話がだらだらしていても伝えたいことはこれだという事が伝えられたならそのスピーチは成功です。相手にもその印象だけが残ります。
たった一言のキラーメッセージだけをしっかり考えてみてくださいね。
